BMC Evolutionary Biology,BMC Developmental BiologyandEvoDevowill be attending two upcoming conferences in the next two weeks: theFirst Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biologyin Ottawa and the European Society for Evolutionary Developmental Biologyconferencein Lisbon.

Evolution Ottawais a joint conference of theAmerican Society of Naturalists,theCanadian Society for Ecology and Evolution,theEuropean Society for Evolutionary Biology,the他要y for the Study of Evolution,and the他要y of Systematic Biologists, and will be hosting a record 2300 delegates betweenJuly 6th-10th. The conferencecoversthe whole spectrum of evolutionary biology so promises to provide anilluminating overview of a diverse field in a hectic five days.
