Since 2014, Florence has been leading the Vectors, Environment and Society Unit at TDR, the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, hosted at WHO. Her professional experience and personal involvement are on the broad knowledge of insect vectors of diseases and on the development and implementation of new vector control strategies in particular against the vectors of arboviruses, malaria and leishmaniasis, as well as the development of capacity in those fields.
