Canine Vector-Borne Diseases supplement published in Parasites & Vectors

Parasites & Vectorshas published its first supplement, comprising
proceedings of the 4th InternationalCanine
Vector-Borne Disease
(CVBD) Symposium being held in Seville on 25th-28th
March 2009. A selection of review articles and short reports highlight the
control, treatment, taxonomy and changing distribution of CVBDs, including leishmaniosis,
dirofilariosis and babesiosis. It is
likely that a further two articles will be published after the meeting has
ended.

Chris Arme, the
Editor-in-Chief of the journal, is confident that this will be the first of
many supplements and is delighted that Bayer Animal Health have generously
supported publication.

The publication of the
supplement reaffirms Parasites & Vectors’ position as an important
