Dr. Gongping Liu

刘博士公平收到了他的学士学位chemical engineering at Nanjing University of Technology and went on to complete his PhD there in 2013 on mixed-matrix membranes and vapor separation. Following completion of his PhD, Dr. Liu joined Nanjing Tech University as a lecturer, and undertook a post-doctoral position at Georgia Tech working on hollow fiber membranes and gas separation during 2015-2017. He then took up an Associate Professor position at Nanjing University of Technology where his current research interests lie in the area of two-dimensional-materials membranes and mixed-matrix membranes for molecular separations.

Dr. Liu has published over 60 papers in Nature Materials, Angewandte Chemie, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Society Reviews, Journal of Membrane Science and AIChE Journal with over 2500 citations. He has received the North American Membrane Society (NAMS) Young Membrane Scientist Award in 2018 and the International Forum on Advanced Materials Young Scientist Award in 2017.
